Existing experiences on spatial planning are still limited in the country. It is for this very reason that the MLMUPC embarked on the formulation of sub-national spatial planning handbooks that provide an overall direction, specific procedures as well as practical knowledge and advice based on spatial planning processes that have been piloted across the country in cooperation with GIZ.
