This work originated from the study of the architectural and urban heritage of Phnom Penh, carried out by the Apur upon the request of the Ministry of Culture and in agreement with the Cambodian authorities. The publication of this study also provides the opportunity to bring together a large quantity of information such as texts, plans and photos, enabling a better understanding of the characteristics of this heritage and its origins.
