"This ‘User-Friendly Manual on Solid Waste Management Model at Municipal and District’ was developed under the ‘Inclusive Governance for Service Delivery and Social Accountability Project’ of the United Nations Development Programme in Cambodia. An objective of this inclusive governance project is to continue improving the capacity of local administrations and promoting citizen engagement. It is expected that the municipal and district administrators will have a better understanding of their generic roles and will be able to perform their functions more fruitfully. this manual is developed based on the present situation of the target municipality and districts such as Ang Snuol district in Kandal province, Kampong Trolach district in Kampong Chhnang Province, and Steung Treng municipality in Steung Treng province."
